Here's a tip from an old timer. Make sure the block timing isn't 180 degrees out. After you mark the belt and gears. Remove the belt and spin the crank 180. This will let you move the cam to close the valve on the problem cylinder while doing it. What you're experiencing is a timing issue.

1. Jan 15, 2017. #1. Hi. Can anyone help. I changed the fuel filter on my 05 scudo. After changing I went to start and it ran out of fuel due to air in the line. I loosened the bleed screw and the pushed the pump button which drew the fuel thru and push the air out and did the screw back up. Van started, ran for 30seconds then stop.
